CIMS has an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certified Business Continuity Plan (BCP) which covers many eventualities including Epidemic and Pandemic strategies. As a company we already have a high proportion of remote workers who are able to provide continued support in accordance with our SS&LA in the event of a Pandemic. Our BCP was invoked as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) several weeks ago and as a result several additional staff were instructed to work from home. Additional measures were also taken at our registered office including several industrial size hand sanitisers with alcohol-based liquid being located at strategic points within the building. CIMS staff have been briefed on infection control and the requirement for enhanced hygiene to minimise the risk. CIMS already rely heavily on Video/Audio conferencing to reduce the need for face to face internal and external meeting. A communication plan is in place to constantly advise staff on the situation and our Operations Manager is frequently monitoring UK Government, Public Health England (PHE) and World Health Organisation (WHO) websites and implementing their advice.
