SuperFit for purpose

InfoFlex was chosen as the platform on which to develop a prostate specific eHNA and Care Planning tool as part of research into the feasibility and acceptability of the use of technology in a supported self-management programme.

Researchers at Warwick Medical School have reported significantly positive outcomes from the 3 year study, which was completed in July 2016. The flexibility of the InfoFlex tool has been key to enabling the refinement of the eHNA throughout the iterative development process, in response to feedback from PCUK volunteers, clinicians and prostate cancer patients from 2 urology clinics.

Dr Veronica Nanton, lead researcher for the project, commented: “A strong working relationship with our IT Company enabled us to refine and integrate the HNA content into the InfoFlex platform, adapting the design, look and feel to create a tool that would be appealing and accessible to a wide range of men.”
